This book touches all the right bases. It appeals to most as it provides a solid story line, well developed relatable main characters, a gamut of situations engaging both the logic and the emotions of the characters. In the broader sense, it teaches life lessons. It’s appeal goes beyond gamers and on to please lovers of myth, history, and military tactics with a sprinkle of well balanced tasteful romance. It worked for me even though I’m older. The ending is satisfying but with major unanswered questions as should be the case with a multi book saga. I look forward to the next installment.
